"The End of Self-Improvement"
As the rain drops heavily against the window pane, I am awoken by the storm that has come to pass. Being back from winter break, which seems like a blur, I realize that my apartment creates a sense of loneliness and stillness. Not sure to what creates a dismay in the atmosphere, but it's a good one. As I lit up the candle to start my read, I made myself a cup of coffee to jolt my body into the brisk stormy morning and begin a journey that will hopefully spark a new chapter in my life. As a post graduate, I have to stay motivated and constantly improve my innate self. This morning's read is about what it means to emerge from the bubble of our persona and break through the illusion of fulfilling our deepest desires.
"We don't need to attract anything because we aren't lacking anything. We don't need to improve ourselves because the Self is already Whole. Just as the Oak is already in the acorn, everything we're meant to be and all we need to fulfill it is already in us - a perfect pattern and divine purpose." Law of Emergence
